Carol Annette Meeks, age six, of Route 1, New Market, died May 26 in the Vanderbilt Hospital, following an illness.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Meeks, Route 1, New Market; three brothers, Larry, Kenneth and Den; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Meeks of Petersburg, Tenn; and Mrs. Lillie Sisk of Route 1, New Market; and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 p.m. today from the Union Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. George McQuiston and the Rev. Jerry McGeehee officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Donnie Brooks, Glen Brooks, Bobby Landmand, Donald Howard and Wayne Howard.
