DIES AT HOME IN MISHICOT
Mrs. Theressia Peroutka Is Heart Attack Victim
Mrs. Theressia Peroutka, 83, pioneer resident of the county, died at her
home in Mishicot early Thursday afternoon, as a result of heart trouble.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock from the
Specht funeral parlors and at 10 o’clock in Holy Cross Catholic church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Peroutka, nee Theressia Wanek, was born in Domazlice, Czecho-Slovakia
on March 25, 1850. At the age of 18 years she immigrated to this country
and settled at Francis Creek, where she remained until 12 years ago,
removing to the village of Mishicot. She was married in 1874, her husband
preceding her in death a number of years ago.
Mrs. Peroutka is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Peter Hronek of Mishicot and
a son, Joseph Peroutka of Kossuth, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Regal of
Rhinelander and Miss Ann Wanek of Domazlice, Bohemia, and a brother, the
Rev. A. Wanek, also of Domazlice.
