Kenneth Layton, 51, of Harrisburg, passed away on Monday June 27, 2016 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.
While the challenges of his life may have been viewed by some as overwhelming, Ken chose to embrace what made his life unique. A naturally caring person, he was always helpful and involved when it came to other people - whether cooking for them or just sharing time with them. His generosity was evident through his random acts of kindness - like the donation of his belongings to the Purple Heart Society. Ken loved the outdoors - from simply spending time in the yard to traveling around to yard sales and second hand shops looking to negotiate the next bargain.
