Janice A. Skinner, 78 of Parkersburg passed away July 2, 2016 at the Worthington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Weston, WV. the daughter of the late George J. and Margaret Ann Burkhammer Clem.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved shopping, cooking and collecting recipes. She was a member of the Camden Avenue Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Rake and Debra Miller both of Parkersburg. Her grandchildren, Deidra Adeshina, Jeffrey Miller, Christopher Miller, Nicholas Miller and Jacob Skinner. Eight great grandchildren. Her brother, George D. Clem of Parkersburg and her sister, Esther Jean Cyrus of Mansfield, OH. and her best friend, Edna Lower.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Skinner; Her son, George "Bill" Skinner and an infant son Jeffrey Skinner; One brother, Richard Clem.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Ron Riddle officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:30 until 12:30pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg.
