Scott Novak, 17, of 2824 Two Creeks Road, Mishicot, died unexpectedly of asphyxiation Sunday morning, February 5, 1989 in a fishing cabin at Harpt's Lake. Funeral services will be 3 pm Wednesday at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot. Rev. Donald Marquardt will officiate and burial will be in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
Scott was born July 14, 1971 at Two Rivers, son of Kenneth and Mary Helen Fanslau Novak. Scott was currently a Junior at Mishicot Community High School and a member of the Wrestling Team. He was active in hunting and fishing and was First Mate on the Northern Tropic Charter Boat, Two Rivers.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Mary Helen Novak; three sisters, Angela Lynn, Jill Rae and Krystal, all at home; his maternal grandparents, Ray and Helen Fanslau of Lakewood, Wisconsin and his paternal grandfather, Edward Novak of Mishicot. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edna Novak.
