Bonnie Dean Love Rodgers, 64, of Taylor, Texas, passed away June 24, 2016.

Bonnie was born to Howard and Lucille Love on July 19, 1951, in Thorndale, Texas.

On July 25, 1970, she was united in marriage to Stephen "Sonny" Rodgers. Bonnie was a homemaker for many years while raising her daughters Missy, Anita, and Kristi. Our mom was our rock, our biggest supporter, and we already miss her.

After her children were grown, Bonnie went to work in Central Cash Receiving at the Texas Department of Public Safety where she retired in 2012.

Bonnie was a very beautiful woman who was very involved with her family. As Ma'am-ma, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play, perform in school activities, and grow. She was kind, loving, caring, always putting others before herself. One of her favorite things to do was play Scrabble with her sisters. Bonnie was Queen of Scrabble, The Boss, and if anyone disagreed, you would get "The Look."

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Krista Rodgers, great granddaughter Emily Rodgers, brothers Richard Love and Don Love, sisters Dora Mae Farr and Anita Gibson.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Rodgers-Miller and husband Danny, Lalowynn Rodgers, and Aubrey Rodgers all of Taylor, Anita Rodgers Ouellette and husband Barry of Round Rock, stepsons Steve Pearson and wife Joy of Walburg, Wesley Pearson and wife Suzi of Rosanky, David Pearson and wife Angie of Buda, and Greg Rodgers and wife Ruth of Bastrop; brother Gene Love and wife Kay of Moody; sisters Sissy Jahn, Tricia Urbis and husband Frankie all of Georgetown, Roxie Coulston and husband Buddy of Waxahachie; sister-in-laws Billie Parker and Bobbie Love of Thorndale; grandchildren Stephen, Dustin & Laura, Destiny, Meghan, Chance & Delia, Hallie, Kassidy, Bailey, Gregory, Krystal, Paige, Jenna & Byron, Matt & Kristen, and Ally; great grandbabies Riley, Carter, Sonny, Makinzi, Parker, Skyler, Brantley, Daniel, & Kelsey; best friends Delores & Arthur Hernandez, Gayle Henson and Beverly Weisner; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
