NEW BOSTON — CHRIS WEBB, 29, of New Boston, passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2016 after a long battle of cancer.
He is survived by his mother, Regina Webb, father Bill Spriggs, a son, Jonah, his brothers, Billy Jo Spriggs and Joe Spriggs, and a sister, Jennifer Spriggs. He is also survived by his grandparents, Sue and Elmer Robinson and William and Loretta Spriggs and Carla Spriggs.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Jo Spriggs, grandfather, Milford Webb, and his uncles; Brian Webb, Joey Estep and Virgil Spriggs.
Chris was a 2005 graduate of Gleenwood High School and a dedicated member of SOLACE. He spoke at numerous events on addiction and hoped his legacy will be remembered by helping recovering addicts and their families. He is loved by all his cousins and many friends who will carry on his legacy throughout the years.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Burial will follow at Hanging Rock Cemetery.
