Carrie C. Robertson, 91, of Warm Springs died on Thursday, Nov. 7, 1996 at Bath County Community Hospital. She was born on Aug. 20, 1905 in Bath County, a daughter of Lee and Mary Green Robertson. Her husband, the Rev. George Robertson, preceded her in death. She was a member of Chimney Run Church of the Brethren and the ladies circle. Surviving are four daughters, Virginia Kline of Bridgewater, Montaque D'Ottavio of Turnersville, N.J. and Annie Wolfe and Mary Belle Ailstock, both of Warm Springs; five sons, Calvin, Ervin, Paul, Ira and Leroy Robertson, all of Warm Springs; two sisters, Josephine Robertson of Bedford, Ind., and Lucy Ruble of Lexington; a half-sister, Emma Swearengin of Hot Springs; two brothers, William of Hot Springs and Robert Robertson of Richmond; 23 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren. A service was conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Chimney Run Church of the Brethren by the Rev. James Wiley, with burial at the Robertson Family Cemetery at Chimney Run. Memorial contributions may be made to Chimney Run Church of the Brethren.
