Russell Gray Robertson, 67, of Warm Springs, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Robertson was born in Warm Springs on March 4, 1944, to the late Willie Robertson and Eva Hise.
He retired from the Homestead resort with more than 20 years of service. He was a member of Chimney Run Church of the Brethren and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Mr. Robertson is survived by two brothers, Billy Robertson and wife Bertha, and Wayne Robertson and wife Kathy; two sisters, Kathleen Liptrap and husband Donnie, Louise Liptrap and husband Jerry; several nieces and nephews; six special caregivers, Chris, Brandon, Haven, Jaden, Lydia and Mary Lee Mines.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 17, at McLaughlin and Young Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Gram officiating.
Burial will follow at Chimney Run Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

He was a member of Chimney Run Church of the Brethren and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Mr. Robertson is survived by his companion, Laura Mines; two brothers, Billy Robertson & wife Bertha, Wayne Robertson & wife Kathy; two sisters, Kathleen Liptrap & husband Donnie, Louise Liptrap & husband Jerry; several nieces & nephews; a friend of forty years, Mary Lee Mines; a friend of fifty years, Delores Brinkley Mines; special caregivers, Laura, Chris, Brandon, Haven, Jaden, Lydia, Mary Lee & Delores Brinkley Mines.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a life long friend, Elmer Mines, Jr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with the Reverend Billy Gram officiating. Burial will follow at Chimney Run Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Mines, Andrew Crawford, John Jones, Wayne Robertson, Alan Franklin and Chapy Chaplin. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Ryder, Jr. and John Elenger. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
