Charles "Bud" DeRycke, 85, of Clay passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born on September 15, 1930 son of Charles and Grace (Murphy) DeRycke. He retired from C. O. Falter Construction. Bud was a life member of the South Shore Association and he was past commander of Sons of the Legion Post #787. He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine. Charles is survived by his sons, Douglas and Donald (Patty); daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Shibley and Michele Weigelt; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse, with Services to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Onondaga County Vol. Firemen's Association, P.O. Box 323, Syracuse, NY 13209.
