Ica Ella (Boyer) Lambert, 84, of Three Rivers and formerly of Bellevue and Battle Creek, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997 in Heartland Health Care Center, Three Rivers.

She was born June 12, 1913, in Bellevue to Fred and Clara (Anderson) Boyer and graduated from Bellevue High School in 1926.

She was employed as a seamstress at Gallagher Industrial Laundry for 23 years and then was involved as a foster grandparent aide in the Battle Creek Public Schools.

She married Robert Lambert Sr. in Traverse City in 1938. He died in 1958.

Surviving are a son, Robert Lambert Jr. of Centreville; daughters, Martha Darlene Anthony of Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; brothers, Ralph and Donald Boyer of Florida, Arthur and Clarence Boyer of Battle Creek, Clair, Ernest and Fred Boyer of Bellevue; and sisters, Lottie Howard and Edith Ayres of Battle Creek.

Also preceding her in death were a stepdaughter in infancy; and brothers, John, Jesse, William Jay Boyer; and two infant brothers.

Community involvement/hobbies: Member of the Baptist churches in Bellevue and Battle Creek. Enjoyed reading, sewing, crossword puzzles and cherished the time spent with her family and hosting family dinners.

Visitation: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Eley Funeral Home in Centerville.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. David Peterson officiating.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery in Bellevue.
