“Robert D. McLane, 35, of 6567 W. Foxridge, Mission, died Saturday at the Veterans Hospital. An autopsy will be performed. He was a lifetime Kansas City resident. Mr. McLane was a security guard for Phillips Security Company. He was a member of the Central Bible Church. Mr. McLane was an Army veteran.
He leaves a daughter, Miss Johnetta McLane, 7302 N. Holmes; his father, James D. McLane of Moline, Ill.; and his mother, Mrs. Alice McLane, and a brother, Harvey McLane, both of 2002 Swift, North Kansas City.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Mount Moriah Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.” The Kansas City Times, February 11, 1974
