Dr. William Dwayne Sizemore, son of the late Walter Raleigh Sizemore and Hallie Davidson Sizemore was born in Hazard, Ky. June 1954. He entered eternal life Friday, July 1, 2016 at his residence in Isom, Ky. being 62 years and 29 days of age at the time of his passing.
Dwayne married Tina Sue Akers February 14, 1984. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Ky. Dwayne dedicated his life to serving the community for over 35 years as an optometrist. He also dedicated his life to the Gideon ministry. Dwayne had a love for traveling, fishing, animals and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Sue Sizemore of Isom, Ky., two daughter: Samantha (Seth) Cover and Alexandra (Ben) Steury both of Lexington, Ky. He is also survived by his mother-in-law: Barbara Akers of Scuddy, Ky.; two brothers: George (Brenda) Sizemore of London, Ky. and Sonny (Elizabeth) Sizemore of Lexington, Ky.; and two sisters: Jenni (Allen) Roberts of Manchester, Ky. and Malissa Ann (Terry) Bowling of Hyden, Ky.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
