Graveside service for Deanna Jo (Reynolds) Johnson, 73, of Cyril, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the Cement Cemetery with Brother Raymond McPherson, officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral Home. Arrangements are being handled by the Fletcher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016, in Anadarko, Oklahoma at the age of 73.
Deanna Jo (Reynolds) Johnson was born May 9, 1943 in Oakland, California to Elmer and Helen (Davis) Reynolds. She attended Chickasha High School. After high school, Deanna moved to Rockford, Illinois where she met and later married JB Johnson. The two were blessed with 2 sons. While in Rockford, Deanna worked as a caregiver. In 2000, she moved to Cyril to care for her parents. She enjoyed being on the computer, playing with her dogs, and playing slot machines.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Johnson, of Tulsa; 1 granddaughter, Tara Doane and her husband Scotty, of Mounds; 4 great grandchildren: Tyler and Caleb Rainwater, Braden Anderson, and Lane Doane; 3 nieces: Talaina Willis, of Norman, and Alex and Lydia Jones, both of Chickasha; and 1 nephew, Lonnie Jones, of Chickasha.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Helen and Curtis Ely; her father, Elmer Reynolds; 1 son, Curtis Leonard Johnson; 1 infant daughter, Gwenlyn Renee Johnson; 1 sister, Tressa Ann Wright; and 1 niece, Vicki Jo Jones.
