. . . age 80, of Peck, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020, surrounded by family and loved ones.
He was born March 21, 1939, in Croswell, MI, the son of the late Ralph and Elda (Odlum) Fulmer.
His marriage to Virginia Sparling was March 19, 1960, in Yale.
Gary retired from State Farm Insurance in 1994. He was a charter member and co-founder of the FOE Cros-Lex Arie #4465 and a member of Port Huron Moose Lodge #158. He enjoyed going up north, snowmobiling, boating, hunting, camping and spending time with family. He also loved to travel throughout the United States with Virginia in their motorhome.
Surviving in addition to his wife Virginia of 60 years, are four children and their spouses, Bridget (Jeff) Sholtis, Amy (Mike) Ruedisueli, Wade (Judi) Fulmer and Deidra (Tom) Williams; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Karen (Stan) Richardson and Darla (Olen) Hayes; brother-in-law, John Dorcy and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Proceeding him in death is his sister, Dian O’Brien and sister-in-law, Nancy Dorcy
The family honors the memory of Gary and invites you to visit and share memories Friday, February 28, 2020, from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Rev. Katja Gruening, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Yale, will officiate.
