She was a beloved mother, grandmother, accomplished seamstress, and talented cook; and for many years an active member of Orangewood Presbyterian Church. Helen was kind and compassionate; a "quiet saint" who will be missed by all.
Helen was pre-deceased by Husband Joseph F. Pickering and Brother James Brown.
She is survived by sisters, Mary Jane Ketron of Deland and Francis Glassburn of Franklin IN. She is also survived by her children, Timothy of Blacksburg VA, David of Danville CA, Kenneth of Brookfield WI and Kathleen Mohler of Longwood FL; grandchildren, Michael Mohler, Tara Michalowski, Elizabeth Pickering, Christopher Pickering, Shannon Rigsbee, Sharae Gunn and Shirean Harrison; great grandchildren, Lauryn, Mark, Rebecca, Johnathan, Marielle, Leah and Jason.
