Loraine was the first child to bless the union of Arthur Askue Box & Martha Carrie Hayes-Box. They named this precious new daughter Jessie Loraine Box. She was born on 20 May 1919.

She married Ernest Matt "Fannie" Crawford. She still lived in the home she shared with Fannie and their children, then with just her and her youngest son (B.1959), after Jeff & Fannie's passing, near Parsons until her death (2 July 2016).

There are four of Loraine & Fannie's sons buried at Dukes Chapel Cemetery: Thomas, Jeff, Michael, & Jimmy; one daughter, Mary, is buried at Trinity Church Cemetery; and another daughter, Kay, is buried at Judson Cemetery.
