Tracy Albert Morse, age 83, died Saturday, December 19, 2015. He was born in Dallas, Texas on August 18, 1932 to Charlie Albert Morse and Lila Lavonia (Boyd) Morse. Tracy grew up in Eagle Ford, which was incorporated into Dallas in 1956, when it had a population of 4,679; after graduating from Irving High in 1950, Tracy went directly into the work force, where he began his lifelong career with General Portland Cement, where he was given the nickname “Moose” by his Co-workers; and enjoyed poker and playing pool in his time off. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Norma Jean Morse; brother Raymond Morse and two sisters, Juanita Starks and Melba Taylor. Left to carry on his legacy and memory are sons Matt and Mike Morse, of Irving and brother Bill Morse. Gone but never forgotten, you will be missed. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Kirkwood United Methodist Church in Irving, Texas.
