Daughter of Melvin and Maggie Tolliver. She was married to Andrew "Jack" Franklin for 42 years and to her second husband Frank Baszak for 18 years. Fran retired from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio where she lived for more than 20 years. Survivors include her daughter Tricia Stallard of Bumpass, Va and her son Stoney Franklin of Fredericksburg, Va; her sister Donna Miracle of Richmond, Ky and brother Bill Tolliver of Lady Lake, Fla∼Lola Frances Tolliver Franklin, 83 years of age, departed this life in Virginia on September 22nd, 2006.
Lola was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on July 27th, 1923, daughter of the late Melvin and Maggie Tolliver.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Jackson Franklin, Sr., who departed this life on May 9th, 1981; and her parents, Melvin Tolliver, who departed this life on January 24th, 1986 and Maggie Centers Tolliver, who departed this life on December 6th, 1992.
Burial was in the Oak Hill Church Cemetery in Somerset, Kentucky.
