Also living in the household were their children: 15 Y/O Memory N. Yeargin; 13 Y/O Simeon G. Yeargin; 11 Y/O Alpha H. Yeargin; 9 Y/O Martha Jane Yeargin; 6 Y/O Emily Elizabeth Yeargin and 2 Y/O daughter, Parlee Yeargin. NOTE: Additionally, this census page reveals that 3 houses away was the household of 33 Y/O John Tabor, born in GA, and his 30 Y/O wife, Agnes G. (Crump) Tabor also born in GA. Agnes G. (Crump) Tabor was the sister of Martha (Crump) Yeargin. It couldn't be a coincidence that the households on either side of the Tabor family were Crump families. They were headed by 33 Y/O James L. Crump born in GA and 43 Y/O Bethel Crump born in GA. These two Crump males must have been close relatives, probably siblings, of Agnes and Martha. These families probably migrated together from Georgia to Alabama.

Martha Jane Yeargin married Camden Gabriel Hill on 08 Mar 1863 at DeKalb Co., AL. The ceremony was performed by John Bulow Appleton whom the 1860 and 1880 US Censuses of DeKalb Co., AL lists as a Baptist Minister and Minister of the Gospel, respectively. (See attached marriage record; a second marriage record, not attached, gives Gabriel Hill's full name as "Camden Gabriel Hill".
The 1870 US Census of Attalla, Etowah Co., AL enumerated the household of 44 Y/O Camden Gabriel Hill, a blacksmith born in S.C., and his second wife, 28 Y/O Martha Jane (Yeargin) Hill, born in AL. The children living in the household were a mixture of Gabriel's two marriages: 13 Y/O Jane M. (Marcy) Hill (from his first marriage to Elizabeth Lawson); and the children from his second marriage were; 7 Y/O James S. Hill (born in Dec 1863), 5 Y/O Rosanna (Anna Rose) Hill; 4 Y/O Rebecca Hill and 1 Y/O Parlee M. Hill. NOTE: The other child by Gabriel and Elizabeth, Nancy Hill, born in 1859, isn't enumerated in the 1870 census (probably was deceased.
