Frances H. Hill, age 93, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana. She was born May 15, 1923, in Harrison County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late John and Mattie Clemons Harrington. Mrs. Hill was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the Thursday Club and was retired from the University of Kentucky Student Health Department.

She was preceded in death by: her husband of 47 years, William R. Hill; son-in-law, Bill Turner; five sisters; and four brothers. Survivors are: two sons, Kenneth "Rex" Hill, of Cynthiana; William "Frank" (Vicki) Hill, of Tennessee; two daughters, Martha H. (Buck) Fryman,of Georgetown, and Rosemary Turner, of Cynthiana; one sister, Margaret Eades, of Lexington; 11 grandchildren, Robyn Fryman, Becky Arnold, Kristi Sinkhorn, Brian Hill, Melody Frances Smart, Elizabeth Hall. Michael Hill, Jenny Wilhoite, Laura Harris, Marireed Goldey and Brice Turner; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, at the Indian Creek Christian Church, officiated by Rev. Sam Harris. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions made to: Indian Creek Christian Church, 51 Waits Road, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031; or Leesburg Christian Church, 6005 KY Highway 1842 N, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
