Randy Depriest Terry, 50, of Roanoke, departed this life on Wednesday, May 31, 2006. He was predeceased by his mother, Idell Terry and a sister, Finell Nance. He was born September 27, 1955 in Hardy, Va. He was employed with Vinton Weaving for many years. Those left to cherish his memories include his son, Randy Dale Terry; daughters, Chiquita and Christie Childress; devoted partner, Judy Childress; father, Wallace Terry; brothers, Milton (Cathy), Lester and Wendell Terry all of Hardy, Va.; sisters, Cora (Mark) Williams, Roanoke and Imily Terry, Union Hall; brotherin-law, Edward Nance; uncles, Clinton (Betty) Terry and Mundy (Emma) Bonds; aunts, Ruby, Ella and Eva Terry; pastor, Fanny (Robert) Martin; Nancy Bonds, Lera Bonds, Mary Bonds; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2006, 12 noon at Emmanuel Tabernacle Apostolic Church, Hardy. Elder George Bonds will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Arrangements by Serenity Funeral Home.
