Mrs. John William Wolf, 78, of Abilene, and formerly of Industry, died Tuesday evening at the Dickinson County, Hospital.
Isadora Lake Wolf was born in DeKalb, Illinois, September 6, 1874 to Henry Anson and Grace Darling Campbell Lake.
When a child she moved to Clay County, Kansas with her parents. Mrs. Wolf had lived in Abilene 30 years, and her home was at 513 Northwest Sixth street in that city.
She leaves two sons, John Wolf of Abilene and Ferris T. Wolf of Lawrence; two daughters, Mrs. Ardis Krause of Herington and Mrs. L. F. (Grace) Lindley of Carman, Oklahoma; four sisters, Mrs. Bert Coulson of Industry, Mrs. Jim Blachford of Strong City, Mrs. Edna Lawder of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Lulu Clevenland of Allyn, Washington, and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the Tufts-Danner Chapel in Abilene Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
Burial was in the Keystone Cemetery, Dickinson County, near Manchester, Kansas.
