Carolyn Ann “Lyn” Marshall, 72, of Blackfoot, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her home.

She was born December 26, 1943, to Warren G. Hart and Helen Moncrief, in San Jose, California. Since her father was in the U.S. Army, she lived and attended school in various locations. She graduated from El Paso, Texas High School.

Lyn married James ‘Doc’ Marshall, they were later divorced.

Lyn worked as a meat packer, a CNA and as a retail associate for Walmart for over 20 years in Blackfoot.

She enjoyed crocheting and loved to read.

Lyn is survived by her children: James ‘Jimbo’ (Christy) Marshall and Jessica (Jerry) Kelsey all of Blackfoot; her grandchildren, Damian, Alysha, Cassie, Cody, Justin, Niko, Blaze, and Skyler 5 great grandchildren, and her niece Julie Doble.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her identical twin Joy Doble, and her sisters, Susan ‘Toni’ Branson and Kathleen ‘Kit’ Farley.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday July 9, 2016 at the Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot. Family and friends will gather for a visitation one hour prior to the services at 2:00 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com
