Ephraim Page of Salisbury, Mass, one of the Proprietors of the Town and father of the late Capt John Page moved into town in the year 1773 in the month of February with his wife Hannah Currier and ten children. They later had three more who were born in Wentworth. Samuel, their son, is believed to have been the first child born in that town. Mr Ephraim Page died in town November 4, 1802, aged 72.
