She was born April 2, 1945, in Butler, the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Reges) McCune.
Judy was a Protestant. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and watching all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed cooking meals for her extended family. Her special angels were her grandchildren with whom she loved spending time.
Surviving are her children, Glenn Jr. and Virginia Wells of West Sunbury, Vince and Tiffany Wells of Evans City, Dennis Wells of Butler, and Bonnie and Jason Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorrie and John Sarver of Butler, Edith and Harvey Sumney of Ohio, and Esther and John Daly of Butler; and her brother, Raymond and Linda McCune of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn D. Wells who died Sept. 20, 2015; six brothers, Lawrence, John, Russel, James, Danny and Howard; and her sister, Shirley.
WELLS - Friends of Judy E. Wells, who died Thursday, June 30, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Park of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
