DAYTON NELSON HORSEMAN, Age: 82, Bethel, KY
Dayton Nelson Horseman, 82 of Bethel, KY, went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2016 at Stanton Nursing Center in Stanton, KY. He was born on October 28, 2016 in Sherburne, KY to the late Jewell Horseman and Mildred Garner Horseman Burgess and graduated from Bethel High School. He was happily married for 43 years to the late Iris Ruth Williams of Williamsport, PA. He was a retired aircraft mechanic at Atlantic Aviation Corporation and Campbell Soup Corporation both in Wilmington, DE and Union Camp Corporation in Franklin, VA. He was also honorably discharged from the United States Navy as a Petty Officer, 2nd Class. He attended the Owingsville First Church of God.
He is survived by one son, Drew Horseman and two grandsons, William and Timothy Horseman, all of Bear, DE and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Bailey of Pebble, KY and James Horseman of Winchester, KY.
Services will be held at 6:00 pm Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the Owingsville First Church of God by the Reverend Lowell Rice. Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery in Muncy, PA.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, KY is in charge of arrangements.
