Charles Walling, age 78 of Pikeville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 24, 2016. He was a lifetime member of Bledsoe County Rescue Squad.
One of Charles favorite pass times was fishing. Charles worked as constable for the Bledsoe County Sheriff Department for several years.
Preceding Charles in death were his parents, Charles and Vicie Roberts Walling; son, Charles Howard Walling; sisters, Opal Myers and Katherine Newby.
A memorial service will be held on Monday June 27 at 3:00 p.m. CDT at the West End Church of God with Bro. Danny Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until service time. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Swafford, Bill Campbell, Marlin Walker, Mickey Swanger, Camden Walker, and Jimmy Reed.
