Ricky Lee Rowe, 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 30, 2016, at his home in Garrett.
He was born to Forrest and Ellen (Snyder) Rowe on June 2, 1950, in Garrett.
He joined the United States Army in 1967 where served during the Vietnam War until 1969 and then became a member of the American Legion Post 178 of Garrett.
He married Cynthia Kay Ballentine on June 27, 1970, and she survives.
He worked at the Auburn Foundry for 32 years and at Courier of Kendallville for SIX years when he retired.
He loved hunting and fishing with his family which meant the world to him. He was a member of the New Hope Christian Center in Waterloo, loved people and always made them laugh. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.
He was preceded in death in death by his father, Forrest, and a brother, Ronald James Rowe.
Surviving are his mother, Ellen Rowe; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Chris and Melissa Rowe and Ricky Eugene Rowe; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond Rowe, Randy and Cindy Rowe, Rudy Rowe and Ralph David and Teresa Rowe; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita Brown, Ronda and Ricky Maggert, Shawn Kimmel and Chelsie and Chris Tadsen; and seven grandchildren, Cody Rowe, Cory Rowe, Cole Wilson, Calvin Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Ricky Rowe and Ravin Rowe.
Services will be AT 2 p.m. Sunday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. The Rev. Ralph Diehl will be officiating.
Burial will take place in Cedar Creek Cemetery in rural Garrett.
Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and American Legion Post 178 of Garrett.
Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
