A memorial service for Wanda June Rhodes, 85, will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. Wanda passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 in Roswell, NM. She grew up on a farm in Hagerman, NM and graduated from Hagerman High School. Wanda drove a school bus for about 20 years in Hagerman.
Wanda was born February 21, 1931 to Renno Haley and Ola George in Shawnee, OK. Her parents and husband, Lee Roy Rhodes, preceded her in death.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Gary Rhodes and wife, Carol of Aztec, NM; and Darrell Rhodes and wife, Merri of Hagerman, NM., she was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Neil Rhodes; Ashley Mills and husband, Jon; Nolan Rhodes and wife, Erika; Chris Rhodes; Sarah Garner and husband, Joe; two great grandchildren, Jack and Bryan Garner.
