He was born on Wednesday, 15 May 1968 in Sonora, California and was the son of Joe Fulkerson and Nadine (Bostrom) Fulkerson.
Kirt was a fourth-generation graduate of Summerville High School Class of 1986.
He served in the United States Navy in 1987 and was an Operation Specialist II on the USS Sterett (DDG-104) and the USS Truxton (CGN 35) during Desert Shield/Desert Storm and was awarded the Good Conduct Award, Sea Services Deployment Ribbon, Battle "E" Ribbon and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and was honorably discharged in 1991.
He married Michelle Young in April of 1997.
Mr. Fulderson is survived by his parents, Joe Fulkerson and Nadine (Bostrom) Fulkerson; his son; Adam Fulkerson; his brothers, Brett Fulkerson and Rand Fulkerson, a stepson, Chad Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theodore Bostrom and Barbara (Opstal) Bostrom and Wade Fulkerson Jr. and Betty Arena; and an uncle, Kenneth T. Bostrom.
