Brenda Lee Williamson, 58, of Westville, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly at 12:45 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at her sister’s home in Rantoul, Illinois.

She was born December 5, 1957 in Laurel, Mississippi to Detroit and Helen Larrance Jenkins. Brenda married Robert Williamson Sr. in 1973. They later divorced and continued to be good friends. Robert survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Rob (Sherri) Williamson, Paul Williamson and Michael (Angela) Williamson; one sister, Detra Parson; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; one great niece; one great nephew and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda began working in the cotton fields of Alabama as a child and started as a waitress at age 15. She also worked at the Danville Commercial News, and later as a home health care provider. Brenda loved spending time with family and enjoyed shopping, yard sales and crocheting, as well as bingo. She attended the Maranatha Baptist Church.
