Otto Way Bryant, 84 years old, died at his home near Eighteen Mile Church last Friday afternoon at four o'clock from complications resulting from a paralytic stroke. He was a native of Henry County but had made his home in Oldham County for many years. He was the last of several children. Surviving him are his wife, Sophronia Bryant, and a number of nieces and nephews. He had no children. (Born 1846 Died 1931)
Funeral services were held on Sunday morning at the residence with Rev. J. B. Yager of the Sulphur and Campbellsburg Christian Churches in charge. Interment took place in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
