Hugh L. Graves-age 78 of Sharps Chapel passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at his home. He was a retired truck driver with Roadway Express. Preceded in death by parents, John Theodore and Bonnie (Rouse) Graves; step-son, Nick Bruner; three brothers, Gene, Gerald and Bill.

Survivors: wife of 55 years, Joy Graves; children, Becky Wenger; Jesse Graves; grandchildren, Kevin, Jacob, Chloe, Amanda, Andrea, Audrey, Ashley, Nick and Cole; twelve brothers and sisters. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Friday, July 1, 2016 with funeral services to follow at 8 P.M. Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp officiating with music by The Betterway Quartet. Interment 2 P.M. Saturday, July 2, 2016 Johnson Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 1 P.M. Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
