Melissa Lynn Weber, 32, of Snellville, died peacefully Monday evening at home after a short battle with melanoma. Melissa grew up in Snellville, attended Shiloh High School, and graduated from Georgia Southern University. She was the Children's Minister at First United Methodist Church of Monroe. She was a loving wife to her husband of four years, and a loving and devoted mother, daughter and sister. She is survived by her husband, Troy Daniel Weber, her 20 month old son, Max Daniel Weber, both of Snellville; her parents, Ronda and Larry McDonald; sister and brother-in-law, Jessy and Bryan Fisher, Monroe; mother-in-law, Julie and Bill Mathis, Rome; father-in-law, Rick and Jan Weber, Lilburn; sister-in-law, Catherine Kincaid; brother-in-law, Jason Weber, Tampa, FL; grandmother, Elaine McDonald, Chamblee; grandfather, Gerald Eads; aunts, uncles and cousins of Gladstone,OR. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made directly to little Max's college fund, opened with money especially give by his Mommy, Melissa. Please send donations to: Max Daniel Weber, c/o Jessy & Bryan Fisher , 1019 Monticello Dr., Monroe, GA 30655. The memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM, First Baptist Church of Snellville. Dr. Russ Shinpock and Reverend Margaret Adams officiating.
