Rex Glen Anderson passed away in his home on July 3, 2015. He was born in Lovell, Wyoming and grew up here. He found his lifelong friend Jim Mayes here and married Jim’s sister, Betty Louise. Rex and Betty had three children: Tina Jelean, Rex Elton, and Racheal Rae. He loved his children deeply and enjoyed making breakfast and watching cartoons with them. He taught them all how to fish and to have a love of the mountains. He loved to fish every chance he got. He also enjoyed bird hunting with his dogs and riding his Harley.

When Rex’s children married, he loved his new children just as much. He welcomed Dustin Olson, Pam Anderson, Troy Nicholson, and Kory Rigby as his own. He then had 8 grandchildren: Michael Anderson, Athena Rigby, Ana Nicholson, Alex Nicholson, Asher Nicholson, Aden Nicholson, Kayelee Moreno, and EJ Moreno.

Rex is survived by his two sisters, Gail Collins and Jean Howe, his children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Ellianor Anderson; a sister, Shirley Collins; brothers, Jack Anderson, Gene Anderson, and David Anderson; and his wife, Betty Anderson.

Memorial Services were held at Haskell Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 7, 2015.
