Funeral Services for Mrs. Eleanor Adcock, 95, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003 at First United Methodist Church in Dickson. Burial to follow in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Adcock died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003 in Vista, Calif. A native of Louisville, Miss., She was the daughter of the late J. V. and Ella Sophrona Hornsby Young. Her husbands, Paul Johnson and Elliott W. Adcock, also preceded her in death. She was a retired beauty operator. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dickson.
Survivors include son, John Paul Johnson, and his wife, Shirley of Bonita, Calif.; daughter, Ann Lynn Hillman, and her husband, Jim of Vista, Calif; six grandchildren, Kirk A. Johnson, Cindy Bross, Brett W. Johnson, Vicki L. Mitchell, Jennifer L. Johnson and Glenn W. Buckborough; three step grandchildren, Corey M. Johnson, Jason Mitchell, James P Johnson, and Nathan A. Johnson; two great grandchildren, Kyle A. Johnson and Kelli Field.
