Christopher Matthew Riley, 17, of Ash St., Ridgway, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh from complications from the flu. He was born Jan. 31, 1995 in St. Marys, the son of Julie and Shawn Laughner of Ridgway, and Mark and Maria Riley of Johnsonburg. Chris was a senior at Ridgway Area High School. He was a hard worker. He held three paper routes since he was 11 and recently started working at Aiello’s Café as a dishwasher. He was a typical teenage boy. He loved to hang out with all of his friends and his girlfriend, Alexandria Hill. Chris loved riding his bike and football. He was a passionate Indianapolis Colts fan. He loved his car and loved to drive with the music loud. Everyone knew when Chris was coming. He was a people person, always talking to whomever he met.In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sibling, Jordan Laughner, at home; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Rebecca Rakieski and Kenneth and Frances Riley, all of Ridgway; and by numerous, aunts, uncles, and cousins.Funeral services for Christopher Matthew Riley will be held on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Erik Hart, pastor. Interment will be in Oakmont Cemetery.
