Obituary for Lori R Patterson
Lori R. Patterson, 47, of Pella and formerly of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born Monday, October 21, 1968, in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Danny and Judy Chambers Wallace Beason. On June 29, 1995, Lori was united in marriage to Dennis Patterson in Perry, Iowa. Lori worked several places including Rolscreen in Pella (now Pella Corporation) and Costal Gas Station in Des Moines for many years. She also worked at the Red Rooster Bar in Oskaloosa for several years. Lori loved sleeping, fishing and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her everything and she loved spending every second she could with them.
Lori is survived by her three sons: Zach Beason, Cody Beason and Brandon Patterson all of Oskaloosa; five grandchildren: Payton, Kaiden, Cambree, Brayden and Camden; her mom: Judy (& Robert) Wallace of Auburn, Indiana; four sisters: Ronda (& Dave) Ware and Brenda (& Duane) Voog both of Ottumwa, Christy (& Blake) Tille of Oskaloosa and Amanda (& D.J.) O'Brien of Eddyville; three brothers: Mark (& Toni) Beason of Cedar Rapids, Ricky Beason and Daniel (& Jodi) Beason both of Oskaloosa; and her special friend: Bobby Esparza of Pella.
She was preceded in death by her father: Danny Beason; her aunt: Linda Beason; an uncle: Larry Beason; a niece: Ashley Ware; and a nephew: Jason Ware.
A visitation will begin Friday, July 1, 2016, after 11 A.M. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa the family will be present at the funeral chapel Friday from 11 – 2 P.M. to greet friends and relatives. As was her wish, Lori's body will be cremated following the visitation and no services are planned. Memorials may be made to the Lori Patterson Memorial Fund.
