Delores Patsy Devine Russell

Delores died 6/24/2016 of Alzheimer's at the age of 81. She was born April 29th 1935 in Eugene, Or to Mr. and Mrs B.M. Devine. She has two sisters, Sally Hoiland of Olympia Washington and Diane Allard of Eugene.
She married Edward Russell in 1958 and they were married 58 wonderful years. They had 2 children, Kimberlie Hamilton of Springfield; and Robin Russell, who previously passed.
She worked for the 4J school district in food services at McCormick Elementary. Also a nursery school teacher at Trinity Baptist Church. She loved working with children, it was her passion.
She loved to garden and had the most beautiful yard filled with roses and colorful flowers.
Many times a year during retirement she would take off to Reno with her husband and her sister Sally or to a casino around Oregon. She would take the grandchildren to the coast camping every year and other coast trips throughout the year. There was only one animal in her life that she adored, and that was Sage, her granddaughter's dog. They would play catch and go on walks all the time.
In addition to her husband and daughter Kimberlie, she was survived by five grandchildren, Tabitha Hamilton, Jeremy Russell, Whitney Dor, and Bill Hamilton of Springfield, and Jessica Henson of Texas. Along with three great grandchildren, Netalhia Eben and Colt Eben of Springfield, and Jackson Henson of Texas.
She was very loved by all family and friends and will be missed very much.
