Victor G. Ball Jr., 78, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Mahanoy City, Pa., passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016.

He was the loving husband to the late Joanne M. (Buchanan) Ball; father of Beth Ann Ball Schneider, MD, (Frank) and David C. Ball (Lori); grandfather of Nicholas Schneider, Brooke Ball, and Sidney Ball; brother of George Ball, Betsy Day, Lucille Sullivan, Michelle Haldeman, and Mary Wohnhass; and son of Victor Ball and Florence (Truskowsky) Ball.

Vic was an Air Traffic Controller for the US Air Force stationed in Alaska.

He was employed by Atlantic Richfield Corporation. Vic was an avid fly fisherman and hunter, a lifetime member of Trout Unlimited, and spent cherished time at Pap Pap's Cabin and The Big Pine.

He gave much of his time to Allegheny Fly Tiers and enjoyed volunteering for Healing Waters.

Vic was a devoted Grandfather to Nick, Brooke, and Sidney and he will be greatly missed by his cat, Buddy.

All services are private. Interment at Jefferson Memorial Park.
