Jacob Schneider, 89, of Dillsburg, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at his home.
He was born October 9, 1926, in Strasburg, ND, the son of the late John M. and Regina (Dosch) Schneider.
Jacob was a retired mechanic with the Navy Depot, Mechanicsburg. He was a member of the York Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean War.
Jacob is survived by his wife; Elvena I. (Kneasel) Schneider; three sons, Michael J. of Harrisburg, Steven G. of Sharpsburg, GA, Thomas E. of Dillsburg; two daughters, Lorrie Guillory of Honey Grove, Trina Carmody of Walpole, NH; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
For those interested in attending services for Mr. Schneider, please meet at the back of the administrative building of Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at 10:45 am on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
