Jessie Ellen Spencer passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 15, 2013, while in Newsburgsport visiting with relatives.
Jessie was born in Williamsport, PA. She moved to the Fitchburg, MA area 27 years ago. She graduated from collegewith an associates degree in Business.
Jessie leaves behind one son, Donald L. and Stacey Stevens of Fitchburg, MA and three daughters, Lonna E. Stevens of Vermont, Jennifer E. Mobley of Fitchburg, MA and Crystal Holly of Florida; mother, Emma C. Forrest Spencer of Loyalsockville, PA; four brothers, Richard and Gladys Forrest of Williamsport, Larry Spencer of Jersey Shore, PA, Leonard and Nancy Spencer of Hughesville, PA, Phillip and Elvie Spencer of Muncy Valley, PA; and three sisters, Sandra and Richard Ferguson of Loyalsockville, PA, Linda and Donald Andrews of Eagles Mere, PA, and Phyllis Spencer of Danville, PA; she had nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, plus nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie W. Spencer, Sr., and a brother, Leslie W. Spencer, Jr.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 10:00 a.m. at the Warrensville United Methodist Church on 5784 Warrensville Road, Warrensville, PA.
Burial will be at the Twin Hills Memorial Park on 3332 Lycoming Mall Road, Muncy, PA following the memorial service
