Stewart Edward Osborne, 80, of Sandyville, WV, passed away on June 26, 2016, in Marietta, Ohio.
He was born on January 1, 1936, in Charleston, WV, son of the late Thomas and Tressa Hicks Osborne.
He worked for Norris Industries where he was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed playing cards. He loved spending time with his family, gardening, and other outdoor activities. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Smith and her husband Roger, Sandyville, WV, and Mandy Joyce and her husband Tim, Belleville, WV; sister, Betty Rhodes and her husband Robert, Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Roger Smith and his wife Jill, Millwood, WV; Eric Smith and his wife Viloris, Ripley, WV; and Jeremy Joyce, Belleville, WV; great grandchildren, Rogen Smith and Jagger Smith, both of Millwood, WV; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 12:30 pm at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Frank Ashworth officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville, WV.
