Mrs. Kimberly Renee Bailey Edwards, 45, wife of Johnny Edwards, and a resident of Parksley, VA, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013, at her residence.

Born April 3, 1968 in Nassawadox, VA, she was a daughter of Paige Woodrow Bailey and Donna Lee Ewell Lagasse, both of Hopeton, VA. Kim worked with her husband at their family business, Tammy and Johnny's. She was a member of Saint Thomas United Methodist Church, and enjoyed spending time with family.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a loving daughter, Bailey Elizabeth Edwards, of the home; a sister, Sherry Bailey Annis, of Hopeton; a brother, Richard D. Bailey, Sr. of Hopeton; grandmother, Anna G. Bailey of Sanford, VA; parents-in-law, Ronnie and Shirley Edwards of Melfa, VA; sister-in-law, Tammy Lou Hickman and husband E.T. III, of Nelsonia, VA; "Favorite Aunt (ha-ha)", Mary Ellen "Mernie" Ewell of Parksley; special aunt, Catherine Kromer of Hopeton; nieces and nephews, Christina Berry (her children, Hailey and Parker), Lindsey Savage (her son, Austin), Ricky Bailey, Nikki Atkins (her son, Jordan), Cody Bailey, Dana Annis Tapman (her child Brody), and Hunter Hickman; and many extended family members and close friends. She was predeceased by a great-nephew, Baby Brayden Berry; step-mother, Anna Bailey; step-father, Tom Lagasse; and is survived by Anna and Tom's families as well.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Saturday, December 28, 2013, at 3:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Parksley Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite 3, Onancock, VA 23417 or to the Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P.O. Box 17, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
