Otis Edwards age 84, of Gray Kentucky was born on August 22, 1923 at Ogle Kentucky, in Clay County. Mr. Edwards was a son of the Late Rev. Tip and Mossie Combs Edwards. Mr. Edwards died Monday, March 17, 2008 in the Corbin Nursing Home. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and member of the Gray Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Edwards is survived by two sisters and brother-in-law; Alice Smith of Clay County Kentucky, and Alta Helton and husband Jesse of Gray. Four brothers and sisters-in-law; Rev. R.P. and wife Ailene, Earl Edwards and wife Missy, Andy and wife Barbara all of Gray Kentucky, and
Rev. Roy B. and Wife Grace of Indianapolis Indiana. A Special Niece, Bonnie Miller of Corbin, and Many other dear Nieces and Nephews. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Donna Edwards of Gray and a brother-in-law, Rev. Earl Gregory and wife Cecil Joy of Corbin. He was preceded in death by two brothers Colson and Dave Edwards; A sister Esther Gregory, and a Brother-in-law Lester Smith.

Funeral Services for Mr. Edwards will be in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Friday March 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Phillip Bryant and Rev. Owen Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Farris Cemetery at Gray with Jerry Miller, David Edwards, Ryan Wells, Bennie Edwards, Tracy Edwards, and Rodney Edwards serving as pallbearers. Friends may call at the Hopper Funeral Home Thursday March 20 after 6:00 p.m. and Friday after 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Hopper Funeral Home.
