After 71 years of a life well-lived, William Howard “Bill” Bolin, II left his earthly home on June 27, 2016 to be with his Heavenly Father. He was born December 1, 1944 in Columbus, OH to William and Helen Bolin. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Bill enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and collected many different things. He was also the owner-operator of D&B Gold in Moore for over fifteen years.

Bill was preceded in death by his father; an infant son; and brother, Jimmy McMillin.

He leaves to cherish his memory: beloved wife of 54 years, Diana Bolin; mother and stepfather, Helen and Harry McMillin; daughters, Cynthia Marie Estell and Melissa Maureen Bartlett and husband John; grandchildren: Nicholas Estell, Jessica Erwin and husband Craig, and Cole Bartlett; great grandson, Brayden Erwin; siblings: Linda Lusk and husband Bob, Michael Bolin and wife Debbie, Wyatt McMillin, and Mark Bolin and wife Becky; brother in law David Forester and wife Chris; sister in law, Karen Mock and husband Jeff; best friends, Roland and Cathy Smith; and his beloved yellow Labradors, Bailey and Brandy.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm and Thursday from 8am-8pm. Bill’s life celebration will be held 11am Friday, July 1 at the Resthaven Funeral Home chapel.
