WEST FRANKFORT - Loretta Ann Taylor, 74, died at 11:41 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016, in Herrin Hospital. Loretta was born July 17, 1941, in West Frankfort, to David and Maxine (Silkwood) Dossett. She was a member of Third Baptist Church of West Frankfort; loved her family, especially her grandchildren, music and cooking. Survivors include husband, Jack Taylor of West Frankfort; daughters, Jacquelyn Taylor and companion, Mark Dorris, of West Frankfort; Kelley and husband, Jim, Leonard of Bettendorf, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Hank and Sue Hoskison of San Francisco, California; sister, Linda and husband, Ed Carpenter of West Frankfort; grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Ben and Alex; great-grandchild, Evalyn; and nieces and nephews, David and Wendell Dossett, Tony Smith, Shelly and Charles Armes, Julie and Bob Wagner, and Bruce Testory. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David Lee and Albert Tony Dossett; and sisters, June Sandusky and Sandra Testory. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, in Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with Brother James Kerley officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery on Orient Road.
