U.S. Veteran Odie B. Brazzle Jr, 67, of Moss Point, MS, passed away on June 24, 2016.
Odie, "The Brazz" was born in Philadelphia, MS to Odie V. and Louella Brazzle (the first born) on January 17, 1949. Odie was baptized at an early age. He joined Antioch Baptist Church in Three Rivers, MS and later New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, Three Rivers, MS. Odie graduated from Carver High School and attended MGCCC and Phillips College majoring in Engineering. He unselfishly served his county in the United States Army. He worked at Fluor Daniels for 20 years as a supervisor and later at Ingalls for over 20 years, where he retired as an insulator. He enjoyed grinning, making people laugh, fishing and being with his family and friends. Odie was a devoted husband and dad to his loving wife Charlotte Ann, children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Odie is preceded in death by his parents, Odie V. and Louella; 3 brothers, Edward, Woodroe, and Ardell Brazzle.
A wonderful husband and the very best dad, Odie, leaves to cherish his memories: A devoted wife of 35 years, Charlotte Ann, 1 son, Darius Vaxter, 4 daughters, Tracey (Roderick) Murray, Nikki (Pete) Glaude, LaShonda Riley & Isis Brazzle. Twenty-two grandchildren: Rueben Steward, Jazmine Steward, Cortez Burnett, Destiny Murray, Octarzius McCorvey, Shaquille Riley, John Dubois, Armon Glaude, Jaylen Glaude, Bianca Fountain, Brandon Sibley, LaDarrius Sibley, Jamie Joiner, Nyki’a (CaDarro) Stallworth, LaDarrius Mitchell, Terrance Mable, Okemah Durgan, LaLeon Smother, Skye Joiner, Cedric Moody, LaCardia Knowles, Ace King Robinson, and twelve great-grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, friends and family. Four sibling, Shirley (Robert) Simmons, Escatwpa, MS, Keven Brazzle, New Orleans, LA, Duke (Charlotte) Brazzle, Pasadena, TX, Sammie Timms & Mary Timms; Four brother-in-laws, Rudolph (Beverly) Riley, David (Beverly) Riley, Jeffery (Cynthia) Vaxter, Earnell (Priscilla) Vaxter, Three sister-in-laws, Susan (Kevin) Joseph, Dallas, TX, Creole, Three Rivers, MS & Dorothy Brazzle , Gautier, MS.
