Clyde Nolan Wheeler
Born in Willows, CA on October 8, 1928 passed in Yuba City, CA on February 13, 2011. Clyde grew up in Colusa and served in the Korean War, he was also a land surveyor. Clyde was a member of the bowling league for many years. Clyde's hobbies included hunting fishing and gardening. Clyde especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Clyde was a devoted husband, a compassionate and loving father and grandfather. He had a great personality and was loved by everyone that got to know him. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and genuine smile that he carried with him until the end. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Shirley B. Wheeler of Yuba City, CA; his children: Ellen Johnson of San Francisco, CA, Stacey Place of Paradise, CA, Debra Handy of Yuba City, CA, William Forney Jr. of Red Bluff, CA; 7 grandchildren and two great- grand children; and brother Jack Wheeler of Louisiana. Clyde is preceded in death by his parents Frederick Foster and Georgia Wheeler, son Clydie Wheeler, siblings Foster Wheeler, Fredine Wheeler, Lloyd Wheeler, Carroll Wheeler, Maxine Longwell, Patty Ann Reeves and Donny Wheeler.
